Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Front End Workers to join our team in Ontario. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on and around a Pilling rig.
Key Responsibilities
Perform various outdoor physical activities and duties with the drilling crew.

  • Assist equipment operators and other skilled craft workers.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of heavy equipment and associated tools, materials and/or equipment in a safe manner.
  • Changing of various rig tooling, rigging of materials for hoisting by the rig.
  • Manual cleaning of drilling spoils.
  • Perform general maintenance of construction equipment; clean, lubricate and fuel equipment.
  • Perform construction site setup and cleanup.
  • Assist in completing construction projects in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Complete all job-related duties as instructed by supervisor.
  • Other duties as required.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Hands-on experience as a Front-End Worker on a pilling rig.

  • Ability to perform physical labour and other strenuous physical tasks; including bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively in a team environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of crane signaling.
  • A certificate of training for rigging would be a strong asset.
  • Wages and benefits paid as per union rates – International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955.
