The Role

Inventory management is key to the success of any business and especially, production teams relying on accuracy & organization to achieve production schedules and fulfilling customer orders. The Inventory Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining, improving, and implementing process and procedures where required to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity is upheld. With one central warehouse replenishing several facilities around North America, we will lean on your support to ensure these facilities maintain and implement inventory best practices.

Attabotics offers a unique product that you will interact with to achieve inventory picks, cycle counts as well as navigating traditional warehouse inventory controls.

Who you

- 3-5 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing/warehousing setting – with preference to inventory related experience
- Experience with an ERP system required
- Direct experience with ERP systems such as MS Dynamics/SAP/JDE would be considered an asset
- Extensive knowledge of inventory management processes
- Demonstrated work ethic, adaptable and flexible to accommodate operational requirements
- Strong attention to detail, communication, organizing, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills, especially when under pressure
- Knowledge and experience maintaining inventory systems both physically and virtually
- Ability to work in a fast passed, physically demanding manufacturing setting
- Degree or certificate in a related field is considered an asset
- Warehousing experience would be considered an asset

What we need

- Follow all safety protocols and ensure daily tasks are always accomplished safely
- Develop & lead daily/weekly cycle counts while striving for 95% accuracy
- Coordinate & lead our quarterly full physical inventory counts with an overall goal of achieving inventory confidence that would justify one yearly physical inventory count
- Accountable for determining the causes of inventory discrepancies, making corrections where required and ensures corrective actions are taken
- Manage inventory metrics and create actions where improvement is required
- Coordinate & support inventory updates with global team to ensure inventory is appropriately utilized
- Monitor inventory adjustments and minimize financial impact due to inventory adjustments
- Complete process steps within ERP system (Dynamics) to maintain inventory accuracy
- Create inventory reports to support safety stock, min/max levels and advise adjustments where required
- Ensure inventoried items are identifiable, organized and easily audited for weekly cycle counts
- Support, maintain, improve inventory process & procedures to ensure Attabotics inventory is accurate, organized, and reliable
