imi mobile is looking for a skilled & talented Data Manager to join our growing Analytics Services team based in North America. In this role you will work closely across functions to drive professional services focused deliverables while contributing to progressing our overall capabilities. With an eye on automation/scale, help ideate, lead and develop new data solutions and improve existing processes throughout the company’s diverse CX communication data ecosystem.

• Help our customers and colleagues make every interaction matter and be measurable.

• Work with product & business teams to design and implement data solutions that support efficient throughput, self-service dashboards, standard and customized automated reporting and analytic data sets

• Create data solutions that provide key performance indicators of performance, expose potential problems, and help drive business decisions.

• Implement tooling and execute data audits and quality checks for source & target data

• Maintain and create documentation of processes and data assets

• Understand and operate within data security & protection practices.

• Design, develop and support ETL procedures.

• End to end resolution of complex data-related problems.

• Work comfortably within and between AWS and Azure Cloud platform services (e.g. RedShift, Glue, S3), MongoDB and Azure (e.g. Blob Storage, Data Factory, Azure SQL)

• Effectively communicate and partner with internal stakeholders to define and gain agreement on business objectives while integrating into action plans to achieve them

• Help build a compliant data catalog and help educate stakeholders on raw data inputs and compliance considerations

• Embrace continuous learning within the domain and across our regional and global product portfolio. Modes of knowledge growth can include on-the-job experimentation, structured training, self-guided curiosity as well as mentorship for cross-pollination across team and other global colleagues

• Education: Bachelor’s (Preferred) or commensurate experience

• Minimum 5-7 years experience working with and managing data

• Team Player with positive energy, great initiative & a get-it-done attitude

• Excellent written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to write with purpose, clarity and accuracy to both technical & non-technical audiences

• Strong understanding of relational database architecture & ANSI SQL

• Experience with ETL & workflow frameworks (SSIS, GoAnywhere, Talend)

• Experience with Linux, Bash Scripting

• Experience with reporting & visualization platforms & tools such as Tableau or PowerBI

• Experience working with large, diverse data sets (structured, unstructured, JSON)

• Must be able to switch workload context and shift priorities as necessary

• Grace under pressure, exposure to diverse work cultures

• Passionate about exploring, understanding & creating insights from data.

Bonus Skills/Experience:

• Proficiency in Scala/Python functional programming idioms

• Basic ML experience with Spark ML, scikit-learn, or R

• Familiarity or expertise with better practices to deliver models accessible for DAX/M query (Power Query/Power BI data modeling, calculations and measures)

• Background in communication channels, retail, financial services, telecom operators

• Familiarity or expertise with messaging engagement data related to channels like SMS, RCS, Voice, Email, Apple Business Chat, Google Business Messenger, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and related gateways
