Abilities to multi-task, manage time, prioritize and communicate effectively are a must. It is the perfect job for someone looking to work in a field closely related to fashion and retail.

Job description and key responsibilities:

In your role, in addition to general administrative tasks, you will be asked to fulfill the following:

– Greet/host/direct clients, guests, visitors and employees;

– Answer all incoming calls and direct them appropriately;

– Be point of contact for all packages/deliveries;

– Arrange local transportation for deliveries;

– Fill out Bill of Ladings, make packing lists;

– Enter customer orders (Data entries in Dynamics Navision software);

– Pick-up/drop-off mail and prepare postage/shipping labels for courier services, etc.;

– Manage emails and inquiries from customers and suppliers;

– Write emails, letters and fill out forms in both English and French;

– Place purchase orders and communicate with international suppliers;

– Manage daily activities and determine important matters regarding the incoming information;

– Purchase office suppliers;

Education, specific skills and training:

– Minimum of a high school diploma required

– Some college preferred, degree in secretarial studies or similar field a bonus

– One to three years office experience (ie. order entry, logistics, administrative assistant)

– Excellent proficiency in the complete Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

– Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft NAVISON a major plus

– Bilingual (English is preferred)

Salary and schedule:

– Starting at 18-21$/hour, depending on experience

– 3 month probation period

– 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 7 am to 3pm

-30 minute lunch break and coffee break at 9am (coffee included)

– Offices located in Saint-Leonard, Qc. (East end of Montreal)

* Start date: as soon as possible

* Paid training included at hiring

* Free parking lot on site, close to public transportation
